FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions? We've got answers. Don't see yours? Call or text (302) 599-8743 — we typically respond within an hour.

What materials can you engrave?

We engrave virtually any material including glass, wood, leather, metal, acrylic, crystal, slate, stone, and bamboo. Our CO2 and fiber laser systems handle everything from soft woods to anodized aluminum.

How long does it take to complete an order?

Most projects are completed within 1-2 weeks. We also offer rush service (1-3 days) for urgent deadlines. Bulk orders may take 2-4 weeks depending on quantity and complexity.

Do you offer bulk or corporate discounts?

Yes — we offer volume discounts for corporate orders and large quantities. The price-per-piece drops at 25, 100, and 500 unit thresholds. Contact us for a custom quote on bulk projects.

Can I provide my own items to be engraved?

Absolutely. We engrave customer-supplied items including tumblers, bottles, plaques, leather goods, and more. Contact us first to confirm material compatibility — we'll let you know whether your specific item works with our laser.

What file formats do you accept for designs?

We accept vector files (.AI, .SVG, .EPS, .PDF) for best results, plus high-resolution PNG, JPG, and GIF files. Vector files give the cleanest engraving. Our team can also help create or clean up your design.

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes! While we serve Delaware and surrounding areas locally (with pickup/drop-off available), we ship completed orders nationwide via UPS and USPS.

Can you engrave full liquor bottles with alcohol inside?

Yes. Laser engraving on glass is a surface-level process — the energy frosts the outer glass without affecting the contents. We engrave Don Julio 1942, Casamigos, premium wine, and other sealed bottles routinely. See our dedicated FAQ for more detail.

Do you have a minimum order?

No minimum on most items — we'll engrave a single piece. For some setup-intensive projects (industrial part marking, custom-cut acrylic shapes), a small minimum may apply. Ask when you request a quote.

Will my engraving be permanent?

Yes. Laser engraving creates a permanent mark — there's no paint or coating to peel, scratch off, or fade. On metal it's an annealed mark; on glass it's a frosted etch; on wood it's a clean charcoal burn.

What's the difference between laser engraving and laser etching?

Engraving cuts material away to create a depth — you can feel the recess with your fingertip. Etching is a shallower mark, often without depth. We do both, depending on the material and the look you want.

Can you engrave photographs?

Yes — photo engraving works beautifully on crystal (sub-surface 3D), wood (especially maple and birch), metal, and slate. We need a high-resolution image (300+ DPI) for best results. Send your photo when you request a quote and we'll let you know how it'll translate.

Do you offer onsite engraving for events?

Yes — we bring our laser to corporate events, weddings, trade shows, and brand activations for live custom engraving. See our Onsite Events page for details.
